Sometimes talking about How to Do A Quiet Time stirs up guilt. We could all pray more and get up earlier and be more consistent. But it’s really as simple as God wooing us to Him as each new day starts.
Rhonda, at CultivingaHome.com asked me to answer this question:
When do you fit in your quiet time every day? Is it before kids get up or during the day so the kids see you in the word?
This is a great question and a case could easily be made for either. I sometimes do my quiet time before my kids are up but more often after. I’m not a morning person so it’s usually after they are up. I go out to the only place where I can be completely undistracted – my car. My kids are usually inside starting on their own quiet time or schoolwork.
But this is now, in my current season. I can tell you, my quiet time hasn’t always looked like this!
Today, I’m honored to answer this question over at Titus 2 Tuesdays at CultivatingaHome with Rhonda Ellis. Rhonda is as fun to read as she is to be with. You’ll see her wit and humor in her posts along with lots of lessons she’s learned from raising 6 kids and growing an in-home business. Head on over to read the rest of this post on CultivatingaHome.
