A PRAYER OF BLESSING FOR THE WRITER
Dear God, my words are from you, through you, and for you.
Give me courage to keep moving forward in the calling you’ve given me.
Give me humility to know that without you I can do nothing.
Give me strength to push through tasks that seem too complicated, too big, or too hard.
Give me creativity to produce what is excellent, true, and honoring.
Give me wisdom to walk through doors you open and discernment not to push against doors you’ve closed.
Give me endurance to continue through the messy middle and trust that my times are in your hand.
Give me eyes to see the lane you’ve set before me and faith to know that you who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion.
May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to you.
I surrender my work, my dreams, and my will to you who does exceedingly abundantly above anything I could ask or imagine.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
This writer’s prayer is based on these scriptures: Colossians 1:16, John 15:5, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Philippians 4:8, James 1:5, Galatians 6:9, Philippians 1:6, and Ephesians 3:20. Praying scripture is powerful!
