Just popping in on this hot summer Friday with a life update and a great, free printable for you!
If you’re on my Instagram or been around here for long, you know that our May has been filled to the brim with life events. That May overflowed into June when my son and daughter-in-law welcomed their first baby two weeks late. My first grandchild! We are smitten!
I’m working on a couple of projects, writing out lots and lots of words and eating way too many M&Ms while I think and study and write. Which makes me have to go running. In the hot, humid Florida heat.
Today, I want to give you something I created for Bible study. It’s a Bible Journaling Page and its yours free! {scroll down to print}
The Bible Journaling Page has space to record your:
Thankfulness. What a life-changing practice! To recall the specific and personal things God is doing in your life will open your eyes to all that God is doing and His blessing. Plus, it elevates God to His place as sovereign Lord over every square inch of our life.
Bible Reading Notes. Here you can record how God reveals Himself to you in your Bible study. I love going back through my journals and re-remembering the good lessons God has taught.
Confession. This is a practice we’re apt to generalize or skip altogether, but repenting from specific sins should be a daily practice for a healthy Christian walk. Psalm 32:3-4 says “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.” Confessing our sins God create a clean heart in us and keep us in unbroken fellowship.
Prayers. This space allows you to record your prayer needs. Maybe it’s something you never share with anyone else, but it’s a need you’ve given to God and are trusting Him to answer. Record your intercessory prayers for others here as well. What a joy to go back though journals and note how and when God answered our heart cries to Him.
Daily Verse. This is where I like to record that verse that tugged at my heart in my Bible study. Or maybe a promise I need to claim for that day or a verse proclaiming who God is. If you’re memorizing scripture, this is a place to write out your verse.
Print out as many of these as you like. You can 3-hole punch them and keep them in a binder or (my favorite) take them to a copy shop and have them spiral bound. Feel free to share this with a friend or Bible study group and bookmark this page to print as often as you’d like.
Happy Friday, friends. I pray this summer you crave time with God above anything else and that every single day He wows us with Himself.

Thank you, Lisa! And congratulations on your sweet grandbaby! I remember when my first grandson was born a few years ago. There were no words to describe it! And now, we are welcoming our 4th grandbaby in January. My cup runneth over…
God bless you and keep you as your write for His glory and for the edification of His people. I know that I am super blessed by your faithfulness.
Sincerely,
Jennifer
4th!! It’s fun at Christmas at your place, Jennifer. Thank you, friend.
Thank you so much! I love to write out what what God is doing in my life now and what had done! So encouraging to go back and read at a time when you are discouraged, how God reminds you of His faithfulness! God Bless you!
It is! So invigorating to go back through older journals and see what God has brought us through!
Thank you and CONGRATS on your 1st grand👶!!!
Thank you!
I have seen your pictures, Lisa, of that precious grandchild and I understand why you are smitten. I have just returned from a visit with my first and her family. She is 17 now and I am still smitten.
BTW, I am now reading GOD IS RED, which was on your summer book list and it is excellent. Didn’t you recommend THE ROYAL NANNY? I got it on my Kindle and enjoyed it, too. There were a couple more that I got on my Kindle but have not gotten to them yet. Thanks so much for that list.
I am so happy hat you have a new baby to love.😁
Congrats on the bundle of joy, Lisa!
In the way of information, I am having issues downloading the daily journaling page. I get an error when I try to open or print it.
Thanks Lisa! You are a true blessing. 🙂
Thank you, Lisa! You are a wonderful blessing to us all.
This is wonderful, Lisa! Thanks so much! I love all these categories. Bible study, prayer, all in one place. I often jot down confession too, but not every day. Thanks for the reminder.
What a great printable. Love it, Lisa, and how He uses your tools to continually draw us closer to Him. xo
This is gorgeous Lisa! And so generous of you:) Thank you!
Love this journaling idea. Having ready-made prompts is definitely useful. Thanks!
